In 1883, Romano Galiotto emigrated to Brazil from the city of Arzignano, located in the Province of Vicenza, Italy. He settled in Serra Gaúcha, where he cultivated the family's first vineyards in the new world.
Angelo Galiotto, in 1954, after his union with Ancila Dal Bó, they consolidated their strong ties with the land and the vine, producing grapes and wines on their property located in Serra Gaúcha, in the southern region of Brazil, in the small town of Cunha flowers.
On October 17, 1966, the rural canteen, called Angelo Galiotto, was registered. The canteen had craft activities, producing common wines, and their marketing was done in bulk.
In 1982, the second generation of the Galiotto family, knowledgeable of the winemaking techniques learned from their father and driven by the wide acceptance of their wines in the market, founded Vinícola Galiotto Ltda., successor to the rural cantina Angelo Galiotto. The property consisted of 800 m² of built area, seeking to expand its market.
